The stage is set for the Southeast Asian premiere of the jukebox musical On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan by 9 Works Theatrical at Rockwell in July.
Following the lives of 26-time Grammy Award-winning couple Emilio and Gloria Estefan, the saga bore witness to the duo’s rise to popularity, and how their unwavering belief in each other reshaped the American music landscape.
Directed by Robbie Guevara, with musical direction by Daniel Bartolome, and book by Alexander Dinelaris, the musical is a journey of passion and tragedy as the audience explore what made a local band into an international sensation.
Hallmarked by Gloria Estefan’s Cuban-fusion pop music, this production is breathed to life by an amazing setlist of the greatest pop hits of a generation which includes “Anything For You,” “1-2-3,” “Conga,” and “ Rhythm Is Gonna Get You.”
On Your Feet! is a celebration of Estefan’s heritage, family, and the music that moved the world.
A production by 9 Works Theatrical and presented by Rockwell, the show will run in July 2026. Tickets and other details to be announced soon.
