Everyone has their own “what if” that lingers at the back of their mind. Some are tied to dreams left behind, while others come from choices made for the sake of family, love, or survival.
Muli: An OPM Musical turns those familiar questions into a moving story about second chances, reminding audiences that it’s never too late to find their way forward.
Marking the theatrical return of the creative team behind Sa Wakas, executive producer and writer Charissa Pammit and stage director Andrei Pamintuan present an original Filipino musical that explores love, loss, sacrifice, and the courage to keep going.
Set against the nostalgic background of the ‘90s and early 2000s, the production follows a journey shaped by forgotten dreams and the hope of rewriting one’s story.
Leading the cast are Gawad Urian and Philstage Gawad Buhay Award-winning actress and singer Kakki Teodoro alongside “OST Princess” Janine Teñoso, who makes her theatrical debut.
They are joined by Vien King, Marvin Ong, Justine Peña, Marynor Madamesila, and social media personality Baus Rufo in his professional theater debut.
The musical's book and lyrics are co-written by Charissa Pammit and PeopleAsia’s Editor-in-Chief Jose Paolo dela Cruz.
While its original songs come from singer-songwriter Nica del Rosario and composer-musical director Matthew Chang, together with the hitmakers of FLIPMUSIC, whose credits include BINI's “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” and “Karera,” as well as Sarah Geronimo's “Tala”.
More than a nostalgic trip, Muli: An OPM Musical is a heartfelt reminder that while we cannot change the past, we can always choose what comes next.
