Tres Papas 2025, a collaboration between The Curator and Don Papa Rum, transforms cultural nostalgia into unique spirits

The Curator and Don Papa Rum teamed up once again last October 24, 2025, to kickstart another round of the three-part Tres Papas event, with the help of another acclaimed bar in Asia, Teens of Thailand.
This year’s Tres Papas gathering paid homage to the theme of Nostalgia—a fitting follow-up to last year’s theme, Panghimagas, which featured drinks inspired by Filipino desserts.
Rum Sawa
Nostalgia incorporates storytelling into every sip, exploring a journey of flavors and memories that take us back to our childhood and formative years. Stirring their unique spin on the star spirits of the night were Vince Uy from The Curator, Audrey Gustilo from Don Papa Rum, and Bas Suppawat Nitsanga from Teens of Thailand.
Taho de Presa
The three headlining bartenders delivered a well-curated menu that promises the classic kick of booze with a touch of cultural sweetness and nostalgia. Uy introduced Taho de Presa and Pandan sa Galo Street, both inspired by traditional Filipino street drinks.
Wabi Sabi
Gustilo shared her Dino Don and Butter Coconut Martini, which drew inspiration and flavor from childhood favorites Milo and Butter Coconut biscuits. Guest bartender Suppawat presented a Thai take on the taste of nostalgia with his Rum Sawa and Wabi Sabi, directly inspired by the flavors of his experiences in Chinatown.
With their first night concluded, Tres Papas now heads to its second stop at Southbank BGC, helmed by host bartender Tina Tubig, alongside Audrey Gustilo and guest bartender Kwan Ponkamon from Independence, another renowned bar in Bangkok.
The final night of the series will be led by David Ong at Gaea, joined once again by Audrey Gustilo and Alex Kharitonkina from Kaiyo, a famed bar in Sri Lanka.
This year’s Tres Papas looks forward to another successful run by introducing a variety of reinvigorating spirits that redefine creativity and craftsmanship in concocting drinks faithful to its theme.
