Renowned Spanish porcelain brand Lladró is known worldwide for its craftsmanship and artistic excellence. Each piece is made with utmost precision by sculptors and artisans, combining age-old techniques with a unique palette of colors and finishes in continuous innovation. The brand has embraced various pop culture and contemporary designs throughout the years, as seen in their limited-edition collections. Among these are their newest collections featuring Storm Trooper, Batman, and The Guest.

Iconic Characters from the Star Wars Saga
Stormtroopers are essential characters from the Star Wars saga and pop culture icons. These imperial warriors have been faithfully depicted in porcelain in minute detail. Made in glazed white porcelain, black was chosen as the main color for the decoration, with some touches painted in gray tones. The piece comes with a base featuring an identifying plaque and its edition number. This creation is part of a limited edition of 1138. The number 1138 hold special significance in the Star Wars universe as a reference to George Lucas’ first feature film, THX 1138.

Limited Edition of Batman
Lladró unveils its first interpretation of Batman to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the legendary superhero. Thanks to a collaboration agreement between Lladró and Warner Bros-Discovery Global Consumer Products, Gotham City’s mythical Caped Crusader is now available in the market in a limited edition of 500 units. Batman is the work of sculptor Eva Cuerva, who is also the artist behind creations from the Star Wars by Lladró collection such as Amidala and Ahsoka Tano.

Handcrafted at the Lladró workshops in Valencia, this version of Batman in black matte porcelain stands out for the precision of the sculptural work and the decoration combining glazed and matte finishes in black with touches of golden luster. Batman captures the dynamism of the character, with his cape blowing in the wind as he perches on the gargoyles of the roofs of Gotham City, about to jump into action.

Unexpected and Unique
The Guest is Lladró’s most captivating character. Ever since its creation ten years ago by the renowned designer Jaime Hayon, The Guest has been a blank canvas on which celebrated artists have intervened to tell all kinds of stories. The Guest collaborators have included Paul Smith, Tim Biskup, Devilrobots, Gary Baseman, and Rolito. These collaborations continue to demonstrate that tradition is open to experimentation and can take the most unexpected and conceptual paths.
