In the heart of Katipunan Avenue, Dear Darling has emerged as the latest go-to spot for food lovers in Quezon City. From early morning lattes to late-night cocktails, this charming restaurant has something for everyone. Located in Citigold Plaza, Dear Darling is perfect for workers, students, and families alike, offering a cozy ambiance and a menu brimming with delicious comfort food.

Dear Darling is a heartfelt project brought to life by Rainbow Sanchez, Wilson Co, and Xavier Calibo. Inspired by the term of endearment between Sanchez's parents, the partners infused the place with a sense of warmth and love. According to Co, "Dining with us should have the experience of warmth and comfort that reminds you of a meal prepared by your mother on Saturdays."

Must-Try Dishes

As you step into Dear Darling, prepare to be enveloped in a hug of delectable aromas. Here are the standout dishes you simply cannot miss:

Tomato Soup with Cheese Dumplings (P230): A comforting bowl of rich tomato soup, perfectly paired with gooey cheese dumplings. It’s the ultimate starter to warm up your day.

Smothered Pork Chop (P380): Juicy, tender, and smothered in a savory sauce, this pork chop will make you rethink all your previous pork chop experiences. Trust us, it’s that good.

Signature Cocktail: Dancing in the Moonlight (P350): This sparkling signature cocktail, with its blend of raspberry, lychee, and champagne acid, garnished with creme de violette vodka, is pure magic in a glass.

Salmon Rillette Eggs Benedict (P330): A brunch classic with a twist. Think perfectly poached eggs atop creamy salmon rillette, drizzled with hollandaise sauce. It’s an indulgent start to your morning.

Ravioli with Vodka Sauce (P380): Pillowy ravioli swimming in a rich, creamy vodka sauce. It’s the kind of dish you’ll find yourself craving at all hours of the day.

Monte Cristo (P380): A sweet and savory delight, this sandwich is packed with ham, turkey, and cheese, then fried to golden perfection and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s brunch decadence at its finest.

Orange Coffee (P180): A refreshing twist on your regular caffeine fix. The citrusy notes of orange paired with robust coffee make for a surprisingly delightful combination.

Brunch and Beyond

Dear Darling isn't just about food; it’s an experience. The café on the first floor is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM, perfect for those leisurely brunches or quick coffee breaks. For those looking for something stronger, the cocktail bar and private room upstairs open from 5:00 PM onwards. But don’t worry, you can order cocktails and mocktails even before the official bar hours.

Speaking of cocktails, Dear Darling’s menu is a harmonious blend of classic templates and innovative twists inspired by molecular gastronomy. Their Good Vibes Only menu features 11 cocktails and 2 mocktails, all named after popular songs. Aside from Dancing in the Moonlight, you should also try Sweet Disposition, a spirit-forward cocktail with Blanco tequila, Cointreau, crème de cassis, and lemon, garnished with lemon peel and topped with grapes and strawberry caviar.

With a seating capacity of 90, Dear Darling is also a great venue for special events. From trivia nights to guest DJs, there’s always something happening here. While they currently accept only cash and GCash payments, debit and credit card options will be available soon.

So, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, a refreshing drink, or a cozy spot to unwind, Dear Darling on Katipunan Avenue is the place to be. Come for the food, stay for the ambiance, and leave with a heart full of warmth and a satisfied palate.
