Some homecomings mark more than a return to a familiar place and for Filipino fashion brand KARIMADON, reopening in San Juan brings its story full circle returning to the area where it first welcomed customers at Virra Mall in 1980.

Now, the brand returns to the area where it first welcomed customers at Virra Mall in 1980 with  a new chapter: KARIMADON Studio at the refreshed Greenhills Mall.

Located on the third floor of the mall’s South Wing, KARIMADON Studio brings together ready-to-wear pieces and personalized design services in one space.

The boutique is divided into two areas: a retail section featuring the brand’s best-selling styles, and a private area for consultations, fittings, and dress pickups.

The setup builds on a custom-design service that KARIMADON has offered for more than a decade.

According to head designer Embi Nicolas, the studio gives this longstanding part of the brand a dedicated home, allowing more guests to explore designs shaped around their preferred fit, personal style, and special occasions.

Alongside the opening, guests were introduced to The Invitation Edit, KARIMADON’s latest capsule collection designed for the many occasions women celebrate, from intimate weddings and civil ceremonies to formal gatherings and personal milestones.

The collection features five silhouettes—Diana, Catherine, Charlotte, Anne, and Isabella—in different colorways. Thoughtful tailoring and fabrics such as neoprene, mesh, and lace balance structure with comfort, while the Diana and Charlotte designs offer multi-way styling options.

For KARIMADON president Rick Go, the opening also signals what lies ahead. The brand is preparing fresh collections and an upcoming collaboration for 2027, with further details yet to be announced.

As KARIMADON returns to its roots, the new studio brings its established approach to personal dressing into a contemporary retail setting.

The homecoming is both a reminder of where the brand began and a look toward how it hopes to grow.
