Cyclists move through the city with focus and perseverance. For them, biking is not just a way to get around. It is their passion. The sound of tires on Portwood Street shows a community that loves to keep moving. Yet, even the most driven riders need a moment to recalibrate.

Belmont Hotel Manila pivoted toward the street to provide that relief. Bike & Brew, an outdoor kiosk located along the hotel’s driveway in Newport City, offers a practical sanctuary for the urban landscape.

Cluster General Manager Sonny Alvaro says, “With everything happening today, life demands so much more from everyone. And sometimes, that extra push comes from the simplest things. A good cup of coffee can set the tone for the day.”

For those riding through Pasay, this coffee provides the extra torque needed to fuel their energy and keep their day on track.

Supporting our Communities

“At Belmont Hotel Manila, we believe that every experience should create [a] meaningful impact," Alvaro stated.

"Through Bike & Brew, we are not only supporting our local community here in Newport City, but also the farming communities behind every cup. By working with partners like Tuburan Coffee and SGD Coffee, we are able to bring Filipino coffee closer to more people while making more mindful and responsible choices together,” he added.

Belmont works with Tuburan Coffee, led by Mr. Aljun Diamante, to support upland farmers in Cebu through sustainable sourcing. Alongside SGD Coffee, they work directly with local growers to elevate the quality and appreciation of Philippine beans, bringing regional heritage straight to the city.

Energy for the Road Ahead

Beyond the beans, this outpost serves as a hub for movement and shared energy. The kiosk features a selection of items for those on the go, including signature drinks like the Butterscotch Royale, Campfire Biscoff, and Bukayo Latte, paired with freshly baked muffins in flavors like Banana Walnut, Blueberry, Cheese, and Double Chocolate to provide the necessary fuel for miles ahead.

This community spirit was recently celebrated with a 13.5-kilometer community ride. Starting at Belmont Hotel Manila, cyclists passed through Savoy Hotel Manila, Grand Westside Hotel, and Kingsford Hotel.

The event proved that cycling is now a practical mode of transport, connecting Pasay and Parañaque through shared activity and the extra torque of a great cup of coffee.

Mindful Travel

As part of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts’ commitment to “mindful travel”, Bike & Brew represents a shift toward more intentional and accessible urban experiences. By positioning the outpost at the very edge of the hotel driveway, Belmont Hotel Manila has created a daily touchpoint where movement, locality, and community intersect.

Open to the public, it is more than just a quick stop; it is a meaningful space designed to help people find their momentum in the middle of a busy city.

Operating daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the kiosk serves as a purposeful landmark for cyclists, daily commuters, and passersby looking for a strong start to their journey. It recognizes that in a fast-paced world, the strength to keep going often comes from a small moment of pause.
