Manila Fashion Runway is a one-day event that showcased enthralling summer collections by local designers, presented by professional and aspiring models from Block Modeling School.
Just 3 months after their Holiday Fashion Show, they launched their biggest Runway Show in line with the summer season. Manila Fashion Runway is produced by Entrepreneur and Beauty Queen, Rikki Dela Peña.
“Manila Fashion Runway aims to PROMOTE talented local designers all over the country, to be a PLATFORM for aspiring models to experience modeling and how to work with professionals in this industry, and lastly, to celebrate Fashion & style as a way of self-expression for those who have PASSION for fashion. These are the 3Ps of MFR. In every show, always consider these” Rikki said during an interview.
Manila Fashion Runway featured Summer designs from Anna Cheung Couture, Rosetta, Ayra Tolledo, Modernò, Gerald Yacat, Sam Lim, Castelo, Maricris Dela Peña & Marie Estrera.
The show has not only managed to showcase talented designers but has also helped aspiring models and graduates of Block Modeling School gain confidence in front of with well-heeled crowd, tons of media, and photographers.
Miss Charm 1ST RU- Annabelle McDonelle and Miss Earth Philippines - Air 2023 - Ameera Almamari were the special guests at the event and were also named the “Muses for Manila Fashion Runway Summer”. Previous musses were GMA Kapuso Actress- Athena “Rere” Madrid, Miss World Philippines 1st Princess 2021- Riana Agatha, Reina Internacional Del Chocolate- Jerelleen Rodriguez, and Miss Universe 2022 San Juan- Dani CamCam.
Hundred of guests and Fashion Enthusiasts also joined the event to celebrate Fashion and witness the latest trends last March 26 at Whitespace Manila. Also present at the event were the Model Mentors of Block Modeling School Debbie Davids, Arthur Tselishschev & Anton Blokhin.
