“Curiouser and curiouser!”

When Lewis Carroll first imagined Alice’s tumble down the rabbit hole, he gave us more than a children’s tale—he gave us a metaphor for curiosity, wonder, and the thrill of not knowing what lies ahead.

This October, Manila’s art scene is invited to take a similar leap. Rabbit Hole, a three-day contemporary art event, will run from October 10 to 12, 2025, at Sevenscape Events Place in San Juan City, transforming the venue into a playground where art, music, fashion, food, and design intersect.

At its core are three of the country’s leading contemporary galleries: Art Underground, Village Art Gallery, and Ysobel Art Gallery. What began as a quiet experiment in collaboration has now evolved into a full-scale cultural encounter. Formalized under the name Rabbit Hole, the event asks audiences to step away from the familiar exhibition format and into a space where creativity spills over its usual edges.

The opening night on October 10 at 6:00 PM sets the scene for discovery, followed by public viewings on October 11 and 12 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Each gallery brings together compelling new works from emerging artists—voices that push against convention while speaking to the urgencies of our time.

But the true magic of Rabbit Hole lies in what happens between the walls. Like Alice encountering tea parties, riddles, and peculiar companions, visitors will find themselves in moments where art meets rhythm, design meets flavor, and people connect in unexpected ways. It is less a static exhibition than a living, breathing environment, one that rewards curiosity.

In its official debut, Rabbit Hole is already positioning itself as one of the most anticipated cultural gatherings of the year. More than just a showcase, it is an invitation to step into the unfamiliar and rediscover the joy of wonder.

So take the leap, follow the Rabbit Hole, and see how deep art can go.
