The club scene thrives on constant reinvention, but sometimes, a track comes along that seamlessly bridges the past, present, and future of electronic music.

Right on time for the summer season, the legendary David Guetta has officially released his highly anticipated version of Milky's viral hit, "Just The Way You Are" starting May.

By brilliantly sampling Stardust's iconic 1998 anthem, "Music Sounds Better With You," this newly released remix is a masterful fusion of 2000s pop vocals and irresistible French house grooves.

David Guetta, a two-time Grammy winner and one of the globe's most streamed artists, needs little introduction to dance music fans. His involvement in a track is often considered one of the most reliable indicators of its crossover momentum, as his workings can be found on some of the biggest dance records of the last two decades.

He recently teased the incoming release by playing it live at LIV Beach in Las Vegas, generating massive excitement and a wide reception across social media platforms.

The resulting track promises to be one of the most anticipated club records of the entire year. As the project is aptly described, it represents "three generations of dance music DNA, one record that refuses to stay in the past".

Even before Guetta's powerhouse remix, "Just The Way You Are" was already experiencing a massive cultural renaissance. Originally released back in 2002, the beloved record found new life last year when DJ and producer Mall Grab—a highly credible voice known for bridging underground dance and mainstream club culture—uploaded a fresh edit to SoundCloud and heavily integrated it into his live sets.

This organic groundswell triggered an official release that immediately flew up the charts, securing vital A-list ads at major stations like Radio 1, Capital, and Kiss FM.

Proving its timeless essence, the viral campaign has amassed over 120 million streams, spent 11 consecutive weeks in the OCC Top 20, and inspired over 3 million TikTok creations.

The infectious foundation of this hit belongs to Milky, an Italian dance-pop project spearheaded by producers Giordano Trivellato and Giuliano Sacchetto. Originally formed as a songwriting and production partnership, the duo became responsible for some of the most recognizable club anthems of the '90s and early 2000s.

Prior to their 2001 breakthrough with "Just The Way You Are"—which impressively reached #8 on the Official UK Singles Chart and #1 on Billboard's U.S. Dance Airplay Chart—they already made huge waves in the UK with hits like The Outhere Brothers' "Don't Stop" and Molella's "If You Wanna Party".

Over their extensive career, they produced more than 200 singles, crafting club staples for acts such as Jinny, JJ Brothers, and Carol Bailey.

By marrying this rich Italian dance-pop history with Stardust's beloved 1998 French house classic crafted by Thomas Bangalter, Benjamin Diamond, and Alan Braxe, Guetta has created an unstoppable musical force.

With such heavy-hitting talent now at the helm, "Just The Way You Are" is unequivocally set to soundtrack the summer.
