‘Stuck On You’ is Bringing Kilig that Kills at PCPFF 2026

On the third edition of Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival, Director Mikko Baldoza presents Stuck On You—a story of choosing between your loved ones and the man of your dreams.

Will you kill the man of your dreams to save your family?

This might just be a crazy question, but for Sheryl Bunga, a hopeless romantic manicurist, this is a battle between heart and mind, and a matter of choosing between her love for her family and her love for Max De Dios, the man she has been fantasizing about.

Director Mikko Baldoza’s Stuck On You is bringing a dangerous romantic-comedy feels through the fun and complicated romance of Sheryl, played by Xyriel Manabat, and Max, portrayed by River Joseph, at the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival 2026. 

The story revolves on Sheryl’s high paying manicure gig meant for a hired killer. But what should have been a simple ingrown nail removal quickly turned into a task to kill Max within 24 hours for her to be able to save her loved ones. 

On the surface level, you might think that Baldoza’s Stuck On You is just the usual rom-com film where two individuals fall in love with each other. But this movie brings not just the kilig feels, but also the complexity of having to choose who to save—your family or your lover. 

And that is just one of the twists of Sheryl and Max’ love story that people need to expect from the movie.

“Marami silang pwedeng i-expect dito bukod sa emotional rollercoaster and bukod sa matter of choices between heart and mind at kung anong pipiliin mo, kung puso sa ibang tao o puso para sa pamilya,” Manabat shared during the Art+ Magazine exclusive interview. 

“At the same time syempre yung mga scenes na first time namin gagawin together,” the actress added. 

River also shared that people will see a very different version of them in the movie, far from their very natural and playful characters as housemates during their stay at the Pinoy Big Brother House.

“I’m sure the people will be leaving the cinemas laughing, happy, and feeling good lang [and] not afraid to love,” the actor also highlighted. 

Stuck On You is one of the seven full-length entries for the third edition of PCPFF. 

Film showing runs from September 23 to October 4, 2026, at Gateway Cineplex 18, Trinoma, Fairview Terraces, Ayala Malls Feliz, Ayala Malls Circuit, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Market! Market!
