There’s a quiet kind of magic when people gather in a sala. Conversations flow easily and music feels fuller when shared between friends. 

At A.bode Space in San Juan, this magic is more than a fleeting moment—it’s the heartbeat of everything.

What started as a few friends looking for a place to create and unwind has grown into a thriving third space—a sanctuary between home and the world of art, music, and conversation. 

In a creative landscape where creative communities often struggle, A.bode stands out for its sincerity. Every experience mirrors the warmth of the living room. From small exhibits and listening parties to intimate performances, every gathering feels personal, unforced, and always open to anyone willing to step in.

This year, that spirit took shape in Sala Sessions, a live music series that turns A.bode’s living room into a shared space for sound and connection. 

The debut session, held last October, brought together Fitterkarma, Munimuni, Halina, and DJ Ango—a lineup that set the tone for what A.bode hopes to nurture: music that feels close, sincere, and alive. 

As the year draws to a close, A.bode prepares for their upcoming Sala Sessions. The next gatherings promise the same intimacy and creative spark that made its debut memorable, turning the sala once again into a space for discovery, reflection, and belonging. 

Each session is an invitation to slow down, listen, and take part in a creative dialogue that champions Filipino talent and breathes beyond the stage.
