Fully Booked’s newest Greenhills branch transforms 173 square meters into a compact landscape of discovery, extending the bookstore’s role from retail destination to a cultural space where reading, collecting, and curiosity intersect.

Fully Booked at Greenhills Mall

At its best, a bookstore acts as a space of encounter. A threshold between the familiar and the unknown, where a cover can become an invitation, a shelf can open an entirely new world, and an afternoon spent browsing can lead somewhere unexpected.

That spirit finds a new address in Greenhills as Fully Booked opens its 49th branch at Greenhills Mall on August 7, marking the bookstore chain’s second location within the historic Greenhills Shopping Center complex.

Spanning 173 square meters, the new branch is compact yet deliberately expansive in what it offers. 

Its shelves bring together fiction, children's literature, graphic novels and manga, self-help, parenting, and other genres, while a selection of stationery, reading accessories, toys, collectibles, and licensed pop-culture merchandise extends the experience beyond the printed page.

For founder and managing director Jaime Daez, the decision to establish a second Greenhills location comes from the area's enduring significance within Metro Manila. 

The new branch joins a neighborhood whose commercial history has long intersected with different communities, generations, and forms of cultural exchange.

“We’re always on the lookout for engaging locations to build our bookstores,” Daez says, describing the new space as somewhere customers can “seek stories, spark their curiosity, and encounter new discoveries on our shelves.”

That idea of discovery is central to the bookstore's cultural appeal. Like a gallery, a bookstore depends on juxtaposition: one title placed beside another can create an unexpected conversation; a graphic novel can sit within sight of an art book; a children's picture book can share space with a design object. The act of browsing becomes its own form of curation.

The Greenhills branch therefore continues Fully Booked's larger evolution from bookstore into creative destination. 

It recognizes that today's readers do not simply consume stories—they collect them, display them, share them, and build identities around them.

With its opening, Greenhills gains another space dedicated to that ritual of looking, reading, and discovering. And somewhere between its shelves, amid books and objects waiting to be found, another story begins.
