Calling all soup lovers and spice enthusiasts!
Sichu Malatang recently opened its 10th branch in SM City Fairview on November 19, unveiling its refreshed look and bringing its signature spice and bold flavors to more Filipinos.
Malatang, which translates to “spicy, numbing hot soup,” is a Sichuan street food considered the express version of the traditional hot pot. Diners select their own ingredients, which are then cooked in a rich, spicy broth.
Similarly, Sichu Malatang gives customers the authentic Sichuan hot pot experience, with over 100 ingredients to choose from, including fresh vegetables, delectable hotpot balls, assorted noodles, and a wide selection of meats and seafood.
Once their bowl is assembled, customers can choose their preferred spice level, from 0 to 5, and cooking style: Malapan (mixpot), Malatang (hotpot), and Malaxiangguo (drypot). A dedicated sauce bar is also available, where they can create their own custom dip.
Six years since their debut in 2019, Sichu Malatang is taking things to the next level.
“We are taking it a step further as we have refreshed our logo, updated our store design, and introduced a new dragon icon, reflecting who we are today—same bold flavors, just with a cooler and modern edge.” Jeff Li, co-founder of Sichu Malatang, said during the opening.
The restaurant also launched its collaboration with Manila Creamery, introducing two exclusive gelato flavors: Mala Peanut Crumble, made with their signature mala spice, and Watermelon Strawberry Sherbet.
Enjoy a spicy and flavor-packed meal at the newly opened Sichu Malatang in SM City Fairview, Upper Ground Level, Parkway.
