Ever heard of timepieces that never go out of style?

Time moves in cycles, and some designs remain relevant through every generation. That spirit was at the heart of Casio’s “Back in Time, Ahead in Style” campaign, which celebrates and refreshes its iconic vintage designs for today’s fashion landscape. Combining style, practicality, and heritage, the showcase celebrated the enduring appeal of retro-modern timepieces.

Never Old, Always Better

Tracing its roots back to the 70s and 80s, Casio’s digital watches have maintained their classic, stylish appeal through the years—pieces truly ahead of their time. Decades later, they continue to resonate with a new generation that values practicality and personal style.

Introducing the showcase line-up is the standout retro-modern AQ-240 series, now available in the Philippine market. Among the standouts is the AQ-240EG-9A, with its striking gold finish and a modern take on the brand’s vintage vibe, featuring analog hands paired with a digital display.

The series kept style and functionality in harmony, featuring practical features such as a stopwatch and a daily alarm, lightweight construction, and long battery life. These details reflect Casio’s longstanding commitment to efficient and dependable design.

Headlining this collection’s upgrade is the new colorways fit for the new generation, adding soft-toned dial variations in light blue, salmon pink, and off-white to the vintage pieces. Carefully crafted in a rounded octagonal case and a metal band, these new products offer a subtle yet elegant way to navigate personal style and expression.

The line-up also showcased A159WA-N1, famous for its sleek metallic finish and clean digital display. Produced at Casio’s Yamagata factory in Japan, the model is equipped with a stopwatch, a daily alarm, and an auto-calendar function, which complement its timeless design and practical longevity in a compact, lightweight package.

Closing the line-up was the AQ-230, completing the retro-inspired favorite that reinforces Casio’s balance of aesthetics and purpose.

The collection highlights the brand’s dedication to honoring the past while designing for the future.

The celebration extended beyond the watches. Guests enjoyed a special performance by OverOctober, taking the vibe into a nostalgic sense, while Kat DJ’s set the tune to a vintage contemporary music. SHE/HE’s dance production further energized the evening, bringing the campaign’s retro vision to life.

The event also gathered trendsetters from fashion, music, culture, lifestyle, and the arts, each expressing their individuality with Casio timepieces.

“Back in Time, Ahead in Style” campaign reaffirmed Casio’s enduring legacy of innovation and timeless design, welcoming first-time vintage enthusiasts and longtime collectors.

With Casio, time runs with you—an ode to the past, a living in the present, and an inspiration for the future. In every generation, a Casio fits better than ever.
