When in Baguio, it would be a crime to skip Rebel Bakehouse for their buttery, flaky croissants. Imagine our delight when we found out that Baguio’s famed bakery has opened its latest pop-up branch in Metro Manila – in collaboration with no less than Makati’s Yardstick Coffee. A match made in heaven if you ask us.

These two beloved Elyu cafes are the perfect spots for any brunch date, best enjoyed both by the sandy beach and at the heart of bustling Metro Manila.

Masa Bakehouse is best known for its scrumptious sandwiches and toasts, which feature freshly baked sourdough. Their sweet treats, like a wide variety of croissants and their kamote doughnuts, are also a must-try. Two years later, the team behind the island pizza joint has since made its triumphant return with Grifoni’s, an equally casual spot with good quality slices and more.
