With the Met Gala in early May, the month concluded with the 77th Cannes Film Festival showcasing another array of celebrity looks. This week-long event called for multiple outfits from different celebrities. While the looks were more understated compared to the more themed Met Gala that started the month, we've compiled some of the most stylish looks to emerge from this year's Cannes Film Festival.
Anya Taylor-Joy
For the premiere of the highly anticipated Mad Max installment, Furiosa, lead star Anya Taylor-Joy’s ethereal look combined a cream-colored blazer and long skirt ensemble from designer Jil Sander’s recent collection. She also wore a 10-carat diamond-studded Bird on a Rock from Tiffany and Co., perched on the blazer pocket.
Bella Hadid
Bella Hadid debuted several stunning looks at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, showcasing her gorgeous street style and red carpet appearances. In this particular summery look, she donned a red and white Kiffiyeh dress designed by Hushidar Mortezaie, representing her roots as a Palestinian woman through the embroidery of the beautiful piece.
Winnie Harlow
For the premiere of The Apprentice, Winnie Harlow stunned in a baby pink tweed blazer and pants combo, with streams of pearls adding a twist to the trending cowboy look. She completed the outfit with a giant fluffy cowboy hat, one of her several glam looks during the Film Festival.
Naomi Campbell
Supermodel Naomi Campbell attended the premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga donning a full Chanel ensemble as a longtime collaborator with the house. She wore a black dress with pearl straps and black and mesh stripes patterned at the skirt. The piece was from Chanel’s Fall-Winter 1996-1997 Haute Couture Collection.
Hunter Schafer
Hunter Schafer attended Cannes for the Kinds of Kindness photocall in a delicate white ensemble featuring a ruffled bodysuit along with a matching apron skirt with micro ruffles, finishing the look with a simple white poplin. Both pieces were custom-made, derived from the Prada Fall/Winter 2010 Collection.
