Art House ushers in The Cosmic Collection, an art-inspired merchandise line drawn from the visionary works of modernist pioneer Nena Saguil.
First unveiled during SaliNlahi: Connecting the Dots last September, the collection transforms Saguil’s celestial abstractions into everyday objects—chargers, coasters, placemats, throw pillows, scarves, tote bags, and more—designed to carry art beyond gallery walls.
At its core, the project is about continuity. Art House founder Carlo Pineda notes that the collection seeks to highlight Saguil’s enduring resonance across generations, engaging younger audiences through thoughtful, accessible design while honoring the integrity of her practice.
The selected works come from the Saguil estate, a long-standing collaborator of Art House.
This partnership, formalized earlier this year with LAKBAY: Voyages Into The Absolute, reflects a shared commitment to amplifying Saguil’s role as a pioneering Filipina artist who pursued abstraction with quiet conviction, remaining deeply rooted in her cultural identity.
