Since its start in 2013, Genteel Home has been highlighting Filipino passion and talent under the leadership of its principal designer and owner, Katrina De Leon. 

“Genteel Home is ultimately an ode to Filipino talent. Here, we proudly showcase creativity and craftsmanship that bring out the coziness in everyone’s home,” Kat said.

She envisions Genteel Home as a world-class atelier for furniture pieces that exude Filipino skill and artistry. As they work with local talents, they consistently craft special pieces worthy of global renown.

Supported by a team of senior and junior architects, engineers, project managers, and artisans, Kat is committed to turning their vision into reality. “We ensure that all that talent flourishes by delivering only the best for our clientele,” she added. 

With an expanding list of patrons, Genteel Home is building up to be the go-to for people looking for pieces that complement their own personality and style. “No matter the lifestyle, Genteel Home will always have a piece that will bring out the best of anyone’s home through mindful use of space and thoroughly considered design,” Kat said. 

After almost a decade, Genteel Home continues to grow in meaningful ways. Back in 2021, they officially opened their showroom with a workshop that lets clients witness how pieces are made.

Forming partnerships with local talents, Genteel Home introduced their new brand ambassador, actress Dimples Romana. “She’s a well-respected actress and a mom who lives to love—just like us,” said Kat.

Armed with an expanding roster of talents, Kat and Genteel Home are ready to take on more projects and create more inspired pieces. “We’re steadily designing a beautiful future, not only for us, but also for the interior design industry.
