The Art Spot, in partnership with the Nuzen Gallery, Art Lead Agency and Art Plus Magazine, will mount the most awaited art festival in the city of Tagaytay with 200 local and international artists from 300 art galleries participating in this event.
Set against the backdrop of forested ridges and mountainous open grasslands, the Art Spot provides a short escape from the hustle and bustle of the Metro. The 3-day event will feature exhibitions, artist talks and art workshops that will be an interesting experience for art enthusiasts/collectors. Some parts of the proceeds will be donated to a foundation for less fortunate children in the Philippines.

Prepare to be captivated as Elwah Gonzales takes the stage at #TheArtSpotTagaytay's Art Talks!
Elwah Gonzales (b. 1988) is a full-time artist based in Bacolod City. A self-taught artist, with a background in Nursing, Elwah has staged 3 solo exhibits and has participated in numerous group shows in Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu and Manila.
Elwah’s works experiment with organic forms that strive to push the boundaries of interpretation of two-dimensional space. The themes of introspection, growth, longing, and uncertainty toward unknown futures can be seen in her depiction of plants and people with markedly long necks, and in her use of broken mirrors.
Elwah co-founded the artist-run space and boutique @houseoffrida and is also an active member of comedy improvisation group Bacolod Improv Group (B.I.G.). She’s also an alumna of the Linangan Art Residency in Alfonso, Cavite, where she is currently based as a research fellow.
Mark your calendars for a captivating Art Talk featuring the talented artist, Bam Garibay, at #TheArtSpotTagaytay!
Bam Garibay is a freelance artist with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ateneo de Manila University. His works reflect his interest in the intense visual culture prevalent in today's borderless and globalized world and draw stylistic inspiration from video games, films, graphic novels, and literary classics. He has participated in and helped organize a number of exhibitions in the Metro.
