Since 2015, Komiket has championed the works of local Filipino artists, building a space where komiks, illustrations, and independent publishing thrive. This February 28 to March 1, Komiket returns to Centris Elements in Quezon City for a two-day art fair celebrating creativity, imagination, and storytelling.

In line with National Arts Month, the event invites art enthusiasts to support the local creative community and discover diverse personalities and techniques in art and komiks.

More than 500 artists will fill the space with fresh prints, komiks, zines, and collectibles. Headlining the event are Pol Medina Jr., creator of Pugad Baboy;  AJ Bacar (SSKAIT); Drew Borja of Hunghang Flashbacks; the art and poetry collective KuroSaku; comics publishers Kawangis Publishing and Raygun Press; plus Komiket authors Mio Dagasan (Madaling Pagkonsumo) and Mike Alcazaren (Death Be Damned).

Komiket QC’s poster artist, Art of Patoo, also joins the lineup, adding their signature visual flair to this year’s event.

Expect more than just booths. Komiket QC rolls out treasure hunts, stamp rallies, games, raffles, and prizes across the weekend. Arts talks will spotlight Patrica Ramos and Drew Borja, while Singapore Literature Prize winner Ng Yi-Sheng shares insights on queer Southeast Asian speculative fiction. Mio Dagasan will also hold a live readingof Madaling Pagkonsumo.

Attendees can preview “The Ticking Stone,” PICOF’s official selection presented by Tristan Yuvienco, and capture memories at Studio A Studio’s photo booth.

Introducing Komiket Komiks

Drawing inspiration from classics like Funny Komiks and Pilipino Klassiks, Komiket introduces Komiket Komiks—an affordable zine packed with new stories from today’s creators.

From Alas Kwatro by Tori Tadiar and Aubsnin and Batang Lapu-Lapu by RH Quilantang to Teacher Patti by Patricia Ramos, Callous by Dr. Carlo Jose San Juan, and Pugad Baboy by Pol Medina Jr., the lineup brings together fresh voices and beloved names in one collectible issue.

Komet, Komiket’s mascot, also takes the spotlight in “Adventures of Komet.” The first 1000 early visitors will receive a free copy of Komiket Komiks.

The collection will be available at Komiket QC and online via Shopee and Lazada. Attendees may also get the Komiket Rewards Card for exclusive perks at future events
