Inside the gleaming glass showroom of Modena Motorsports Inc. at Primex Tower, a century of Italian craftsmanship met the pulse of a new electric era.

Maserati Philippines celebrated its 110 anniversary with an exclusive event titled “Electrifying Heritage in Motion.” This is in tribute to the marque’s legacy of power, beauty, and reinvention.

Founded in Bologna in 1914, Maserati has always been synonymous with luxury and racing excellence. As the automotive industry pivots toward sustainability, the Trident brand fuses electrification with emotion.

Central to this celebration is the GranTurismo 110 Anniversario, a special edition limited to just 110 units worldwide. Leading the charge was the GranTurismo Folgore, Maserati’s first all-electric grand tourer that redefines what performance feels like in silence.

“True icons don’t just endure, they adapt, innovate, and continue to inspire,” said Sam Verzosa, President of Maserati Philippines. “Through art and automotive design, we honor Maserati’s 110-year legacy while embracing the beauty of transformation, now with the GranTurismo Folgore.”

Art meets innovation

To mark this milestone, Maserati collaborated with two of the Philippines’s most celebrated artists, Ramon Orlina and Jinggoy Buensuceso.

Where Mountains Meet The Sky by Ramon Orlina

Orlina, now celebrating five decades as the country’s pioneering glass sculptor, presented Lyrical Motion and Where Mountains Meet the Sky, two luminous pieces that capture the rhythm of speed and serenity. His sculptures embody harmony, innovation, and tradition, echoing Maserati’s own pursuit of balance.

Buensuceso, a boundary-pushing sculptor known for his organic forms, unveiled Cosmic Flora, a suspended piece accompanied by a digital art installation from Isiah. Together, they created a multisensory experience symbolizing the unseen energy that fuels both artistic creation and Maserati’s electric transformation.

The GranTurismo 110 Anniversario Collection is offered in two exclusive configurations of 55 models each—one finished in Rame Folgore, the other in Blu Inchiostro. Both versions feature unique black and copper wheels, refined detailing and interiors from Econyl regenerated nylon.

The Folgore’s design merges past and future seamlessly. They are elegant yet assertive and unmistakably Maserati. It is not just an electric car but an electric experience.

Moving Forward

As Maserati steps into its next century, it continues to do what it has always done best–combining artistry with engineering.

From Bolgona to Manila, Maserati’s story remains one of evolution, elegance and emotion. It serves as an ode to 110 years of Italian luxury that refuses to stand still.
