Rather than keeping artworks inside galleries, the Manila Collective Inc.’s PASA PASA is making art more accessible to the public.

Opening on January 9 until February 14, 2027, the art festival will bring exhibitions, performances, commissions, workshops, and residencies across Metro Manila.

Committed to giving artists and creators spaces to showcase their works, PASA PASA is built around Public Space Encounters, City Programming, Partner Programmes, and PASADA Week, which aim to place art where people live and make them take part of it.

Headlining the project is PASA PASA PASIG, a community-based public art residency under Public Space Encounters, presented with the City Government of Pasig.

Internationally recognized Spanish artists Daniel Muñoz (SAN), Martí Sawe, Nano Abia (Nano4814), Spok Brillor (Félix Reboto), and Emilio Cerezo, and French artists Eltono and 3TTMAN will create new works developed specifically for Pasig that will transform the city’s shared spaces into sites for a creative participation.

More than a week before the festival concludes, the project will also present its PASADA Week with three events including the Class Reunion, Encounters: A Public Dialogue, and Saluhan, where communities get to enjoy a party night, explore art, and convene on the accessibility and design of public spaces across Manila.
