The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to hold the 2026 DTI–Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair (NFF) from April 8 to 12 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall. The event will bring together over 320 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across the country involved in food manufacturing, processing, and related businesses.

As one of the country’s top platforms for Filipino food products, the NFF will highlight a diverse mix of regional flavors and culinary innovations from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. It continues to provide a valuable space for businesses to grow and reach new markets.

The National Food Fair (NFF) returns this 2026, celebrating the richness of Filipino food culture, regional heritage, and entrepreneurial spirit. From April 8 to 12, SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls 1 to 3 will once again transform into a vibrant showcase of flavor, tradition, and innovation—inviting visitors to explore aisles filled with the enticing aromas of local delicacies. | Photos from NFF 2025

One of the highlights is the participation of former Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who have successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship. Their businesses show how enterprise development can create sustainable livelihood opportunities back home.

This year, the Fair will also spotlight the coconut industry, one of the country’s key agricultural sectors. In line with the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP), participating businesses will showcase the versatility and export potential of coconut-based products.

A dedicated Halal section will feature certified and Halal-ready products, supporting DTI’s efforts to strengthen the Philippines’ presence in the global Halal market through better certification, standards, and product development.

The DTI Business Connect Lounge will also be available for business matching between MSMEs and institutional buyers such as distributors and retailers, helping turn conversations into actual partnerships and supply deals.

The Fair is open to the public with free admission. Visitors can enjoy product sampling, live demos, and interactive activities, while buyers can explore a curated selection of market-ready enterprises. MSMEs, in turn, can benefit from new connections and business opportunities.

Aligned with the Bagong Pilipinas agenda, the National Food Fair proves the resilience, creativity, and growing global competitiveness of Filipino MSMEs.
