If your skin could speak, what would it say? Perhaps it would tell stories of quiet resilience, the glow of daily rituals, or the confidence that comes from embracing who you truly are.
These stories came alive with the launch of The Museum of Speaking Skin—Lactacyd’s exhibit at Shangri-La Plaza Mall. More than a product launch, it marked a bold step into a new chapter for the brand, spotlighting a refreshed look, an improved formulation, and an expanded product range that now includes full-body care.
Long trusted as a feminine and baby care brand, Lactacyd is evolving to meet the needs of modern families, bringing science-backed, gentle care to every stage of life—from a girl's first intimate wash to a mother’s daily routine, and now to total body cleansing for everyone.

Where Skin Tells Its Story
The museum invited guests to explore a series of immersive galleries that blended product innovation, storytelling, and art. Each space revealed a new layer of the Lactacyd journey, with installations that explored the science behind the skin, creative product displays, and Instagram-worthy corners designed to celebrate self-expression.
Adding emotional depth to the experience were the works of notable Filipina artists. Each one goes beyond skin deep, translating personal experiences into broader reflections on strength, beauty, and identity.

Among the pieces was Of Poise and Power by Michelle Alde, a visual ode to feminine grace and quiet strength. Marga Zablan-Ventinilla’s Confidence offers a portrayal of resilience, while Ana Luciano Fernandez’s Skin At Play captures the carefree joy of childhood. Kizzel Mina’s Eternal Bloom celebrates the beauty and vitality of women over 50. These artists, along with Arianna Bongato, Bea Fernandez, Leahrly Curitana, Janet Arboleda-Ballecer, Clarisse Alfonso, Bea Pascubillio, Nonie Manuel, Sca Miranda, and Fern Abaloda, presented a diverse and inspiring portrait of skin as a canvas shaped by life’s many stages.
The Debut of Lactacyd Body Wash
A highlight of the museum’s opening was the launch of Lactacyd Body Wash—a milestone moment that signals the brand’s entry into the wider skincare category.

“Body wash was the natural next step for Lactacyd,” said Jamie Superable-Martin, Brand Manager of Lactacyd. “For years, we’ve been a trusted part of women’s lives, providing gentle care for their intimate skin and their babies. The new line includes two variants: Ever Fresh, designed for active, on-the-go lifestyles, and Healthy Bright, formulated to enhance radiance and glow. Both are priced at ₱399 for a 500mL bottle.
