Laro Ceramics opened its newest branch in BGC on August 9, 2025, at the C2 Building, Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The studio launched the new location with an Open Studio Day, offering free admission to anyone who wanted to attend. Guests could also purchase a pass to enjoy a free wheel taster and other freebies.

Bigger place, bigger accommodation

Compared to its first branch at the Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, Laro Ceramics’ newest location can accommodate larger groups and events. The BGC studio features 10 pottery wheels and two communal tables, accommodating up to 40 guests. It also offers beginner lessons and direct access to Got Baked Café—perfect for guests craving coffee during their visit.

The Open Studio Day on August 9 included a Wheel Taster class, where guests had the chance to try creating a piece on the pottery wheel for up to 15 minutes. Laro Ceramics also showcased their Wellness Dinnerware Set, a food and microwave-safe collection of four pieces, retailing for PHP 5,500. The set is slipcast from founder Erika Austria’s original wheel-thrown works. Guests were invited to mix and match colors to customize their own set.

A safe space for learning

Laro Ceramics is a pottery studio dedicated to teaching the art of pottery to both beginners and experienced potters. The studio operates to nurture an environment where guests can slow down, connect with the present moment, and feel safe to be kind to themselves even when making mistakes.

Laro Ceramics offers three-hour beginner workshops on mug making and wheel throwing, as well as group packages and private lessons for corporate events
