The season of giving just got brighter at the Shangri-La Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

On a night dressed with festive dècor and shiny backdrops, the yuletide season officially shone brighter at the halls of Shangri-La Plaza as they lit up their most popular and biggest hanging Christmas ornament at the annual Grand Tree Lighting ceremony at the Grand Atrium.

This year’s edition of the tradition features a spectacle full of melodies and astounding performances that offer a multi-sensory experience of “Christmas at the Shang.”

Orchestrated by musical director Farley Asuncion and musical arranger Rory Fortich, ‘A Symphony of Sparkle’ showcased wonderful performances from Johann Enriquez, Sheena Palad, the Philippine Madrigal Singers, the Manila String Machine, the Speed Dancers, and Ballet Manila.

Apart from the indulgent Christmas performances in the Grand Atrium, Gucci opened the doors for an exclusive preview of the Cruise 2026 Collection, matched with flavorful cocktails specially curated by the Michelin-selected restaurant Juniper by Josh Boutwood, adding a layer of excitement to the festivities.

The lighting ceremony is the kick-off event of this year’s Christmas at the Shang tradition, followed by a set of activities and events.

Wishes and Wheels: Holiday Raffle Promo
