Les Fleurs features the floral still-life paintings of Spanish-born, Filipino-adopted artist Juvenal Sansó. “Les fleurs” is French for “flowers.” Sansó painted his flowers not as literal copies, but based on their visual essence or “architecture,” giving rise to expressive, stylized blooms in various mediums.
