Hard cover
Katrina Cuenca crafts abstract art inspired by organic movement—like flower petals or fins in water. Her forms, often floral and drapery-like, elicit tranquility and spiritual resonance. Light plays a vital role; she frequently incorporates gold leaf, light-absorbing black pigments, and materials that shift with lighting to create a dynamic and changing perception.
Beyond painting, Cuenca works with copper sculptures, explores glass, and translates her motifs into design objects, adding dimensionality and light interplay to her forms.
Katrina Cuenca includes essays by Portia Placino and Marz Aglipay, and photography by Gail Geriane.
