The third annual Manila Student Film Festival will take place on 01 February 2020 at International School Manila. The festival is the creative celebration of young filmmakers in the Philippines, providing an audience for upcoming talent and inspiring future filmmakers. This year, 27 films were shortlisted for the final competition.
The shortlisted flicks come from De Lasalle College of Saint Benilde, Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Mesa, Brent School Baguio, iAcademy, Far Eastern University, and International School Manila.
Judging the competition are 4 industry professionals who work in film, television, media, and animation in the Philippines: Luis Tabuena, Ricky Villabona, Dani Montano, and Monique Wilson.
Prizes for filmmakers and audience members were kindly sponsored by Urban Ashram yoga, Active Fun, Seda Hotel, Marquis, Mount Malarayat Resort and Porto Laiya Resort and Wonder Photo Shop – FujiFilm.
Winners will be announced at www.manilastudentfilmfestival.com. All films are on view at the Manila Student Film Festival Youtube channel. Film entries for the 2021 edition open on September 2020 and end on December 2020.
