MAGKAISA Creative Space & Gallery mounted their second group exhibition, Summer Breeze, which featured a diverse body of works from thirteen artists of varying fields of creative practice that showcased various themes and perspectives, mostly of rural landscape paintings and portraits. Some of the featured works in the exhibition are from artists Rafael Popoy Cusi, Francisco Paco Gorospe, and Oscar Ramos, among others. The event was held in the German Club Manila, Makati. The exhibition will run from April 5 until May 2022.
Among the works exhibited in Summer Breeze is Rafael Popoy Cusi’s watercolor piece entitled Sea Breeze, which was the chosen centerpiece of the exhibition. Cusi is one of the masters of contemporary Philippine watercolor painting.

Comprised of a diverse company, the exhibition featured self-taught artists, art graduates, scholars, and young creatives who are “passionate about carving a niche in the art scene”, fostering a diverse roster of artists of varying practices and techniques.
MAGKAISA is a German-Filipino art gallery that aims to support self-taught artists and contemporary masters from the Philippine regions. Cultivating a community of artists and art enthusiasts from differing disciplines collaborate with a diverse range of artists in hopes of showcasing Filipino talent.


Summer Breeze features works from artists Oscar Ramos, Rafael Popoy Cusi, Dominic Urbano, Paco Gorospe, Jhonril Cudillo, Kristian Karlo Gonzales, Luke Joshua Estrana, Sheilow Illusorio, Jim Anthony Oreo, Dexter Matias, Enzo Moreno, Patricia Collantes, and Hermingildo Pineda.
The exhibition will be running from April 5 to May 2022, at the German Club Manila, Makati.
