As October is celebrated and regarded as the Museums and Galleries month, we are excited to create a list of must-visit places that celebrate arts at its finest.

With this, complete that list of yours with our five recommended places for you to visit during the whole month:

Casa Manila Museum

Nestled inside the infamous walled city, Intramuros is the Casa Manila Museum. It is a Spanish colonial house exhibiting a great infrastructure design. Its outside structure was mostly made of Chinese granite making it historically designed and elegant for the public’s eyes.

Inside the house, you can see furniture from Europe and China, such as painted walls, chandeliers, carved traceries, and Chinese ceramics.

The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday and is located in the Intramuros, Manila with a regular rate of Php 75.00 and a discounted rate of Php 50.00.

RiseSpaceArt Gallery

Presenting modern arts, RiseSpaceArt gives the platform for artists to celebrate their artistry and crafts. With the mission to give a space for artists to bring themselves to a world of expression, the gallery offers a cozy time for people to unplug from the hustle and bustle of the city.

RiseSpaceArt Gallery is located in Comuna Building, Makati City, and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Artinformal Gallery

Showcasing various types of art is the Artinformal Gallery located at The Alley, Makati City. From sculpture, painting, pottery, installation, and multimedia to performances, Artinformal has it all. Staying true to its mission, the gallery continuously promotes the artistry of Filipino artists in art markets and various institutions in Asia.

Artinformal is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Vinyl on Vinyl

Another gallery hidden from the modernity of Makati City is Vinyl on Vinyl. The gallery was founded way back in 2010. Unlike any other gallery, Vinyl on Vinyl merges toys, music, and art in one small space.

It doesn’t only showcase modern art but also modern pop culture as various artists make it a place where they can display their artworks, which most don’t conform with the norms.

The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is located at La Fuerza 1, Makati City.

Sulyap Gallery Cafe

Sulyap Gallery Cafe offers a combination of good food and good art. The gallery is famous not only for its historical Antillean hotel architecture but also for its traditional Filipino cuisine. Guests can enjoy these both things as the museum is only located near the cafe.

Sulyap Museum offers a lived experience of the colonial era by showcasing antique collections, wooden furniture, ceramics, and religious artifacts along with its classical vibe and design.

Sulyap, indeed, offers both the taste of the past with its food and its arts. The gallery is located at Sulyap Compound, San Pablo City, Laguna from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

This month is a sign to make people appreciate art in every form and celebrate Filipino artistry. It is a new way to make an excuse to temporarily unplug out of the busy life and enjoy the coziness and comfort that arts can offer.
