Fashion luminaries. Design tastemakers. Collaboration weavers.

Placed at the heart of Makati, multi-brand concept store BRGY embodies these. The space is as Filipino as it gets: with its namesake, derived from the smallest yet most fundamental unit of administrative power; fashion designers upholding the Filipino prowess on a global scale; and the communal lifestyle synonymous with the Filipino bayanihan.

Inno Caluza, Jun Escario, Jor El Espina, Jerome Lorico

These elements coalesce into the space’s final inception, spearheaded by contemporary fashion designer Jor-el Espina, who lends his vision and knack for curating objets d’art for the space.

“Even before, I really wanted to own or curate a concept store. I had extra space, so I divided my atelier into two. I really wanted to create a creative hub. We came up with a concept: a lifestyle store for fashion,” Espina reaffirmed.

Aligned with the space’s commitment to community, a three to six-month rotation will be featured, introducing a fresh new batch of fashion designers and art purveyors with their own thoughtfully curated pieces. Featured in BRGY’s first slate of designers are:

JOR-EL ESPINA

A lively blend of memory and craft, the pieces reimagine Filipino nostalgia—bold checks, floral details, and sari-sari store motifs—into a playful tribute to today’s Barangayan spirit.

JUN ESCARIO

An ode to the Filipino flair with a twist. Jun Escario tributes his designs to the traditional threads—a beautiful blend of heritage and modernity.

LORICO by Jerome Lorico

Imbued in surrealism and natural creation, designer Jerome Lorico flaunts an array of pieces for the soace—themed with woven garbs, flowers, anatomy, and the living.

VIKTOR JEANS by Inno Caluza

Orb and trucker jackets and denim pants, crafted from Japanese vegan lambskin leather, adorn VIKTOR’s ready-to-wear line, weaving structure and technical minimalism to the space.

“The collections we featured in BRGY are exclusive to the concept store and are done in small batches. The pieces I have here, for example, are totally different from the ones you will see at the atelier or pop-ups,” Espina emphasized, with capsule collections also being on rotation.

Pinoy fashion has never been closer to the public—now it’s up to you to support local. BRGY is located at Unit 704, One Corporate Center, Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City. The store is open from 10 AM to 7 PM.
