On October 20 2023, Galleria Duemila, founded by Silvana Ancellotti-Diaz, was awarded a Plaque of recognition for showcasing Modern and Contemporary Filipino Artists, and pioneered research and documentation on local artists with a vision to elevate the profile of Filipino Art worldwide. We would like to thank Pasay City Mayor Mrs. Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, Vice Mayor Ding Del Rosario, Representative of Protocol office Mr. Adrian Martinez, Congressman Mr. Antonio Calixto, Pasay Culture and Arts Council Chairperson Mrs. Teresita Robles, Councilor Mr. Ian Vendivel, Tourism head of Pasay City Mr. George Tiopes, and Councilor Mr. Joey Calixto Isidro for honoring us with their presence.
Galleria Duemila received the Certificate of Inclusion to the Pasay Local Cultural Inventory (LCI) in accordance with R.A. 10066 also known as the National Heritage Act and R.A. 11961 likewise known as the Cultural Mapping Act, is recognized as one of the City’s significant institution.

Silvana Ancellotti-Diaz is forever grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Jaime B Diaz who gave the seed money to establish Galleria Duemila in 1975, and to Cristina Pagaspas, who co-founded and played an essential role in helping establish Galleria Duemila.
