Toblerone, renowned for its distinctive triangular chocolate, has officially introduced Toblerone Truffles in the Philippines. These eye-catching, diamond-shaped delights mark a new chapter in luxurious indulgence for Filipino chocolate lovers. Encased in a smooth milk chocolate shell, the truffles evoke the brand’s signature honey and almond nougat at their heart. Their grand reveal took place on the runway during a spectacular collaboration with Philippine Fashion Week.

This partnership is a true reflection of Toblerone’s “Never Square” philosophy—a tribute to individuality, creativity, and the fearless spirit to defy norms.

“We’re excited to bring Toblerone Truffles to the Philippines, introducing a new level of chocolate indulgence,” says Adrian Manlapig, Marketing Head of Mondelēz International Philippines. “This milestone marks Toblerone’s first innovation to launch in a domestic market in Asia.”

Toblerone Truffles honor the brand’s rich heritage while unveiling a fresh expression of craftsmanship and creativity. Each diamond-shaped piece offers a taste and texture experience that redefines chocolate pleasure. More than a sweet treat, Toblerone Truffles are a bold expression of the brand’s “Never Square” philosophy.

“‘Never Square’ is about challenging conventions and celebrating one’s true, unique self,” says Crystal Muriel Balili-Lanot, Senior Category Marketing Manager for Snacks at Mondelēz International Philippines. “It’s a mindset of daring to be different, and the Toblerone Truffles, with their unconventional diamond shape, perfectly capture that belief. Life is too rich and varied to be contained in a square box.”

Diamond Heist

Fashion has always served as a platform for self-expression and redefining boundaries. Collaborating with Philippine Fashion Week for the Toblerone Truffles’ launch felt like a natural progression for the brand.

“The partnership with Philippine Fashion Week is rooted in our shared passion for originality and fearless self-expression,” says Balili-Lanot. “Fashion and chocolate, at their core, are forms of artistry and indulgence. This collaboration allowed us to powerfully showcase how ‘Never Square’ can be beautifully and creatively expressed through exceptional Filipino talent with global ambition.”

“We’ve always dedicated our platform to Filipino designers who are unafraid to challenge convention,” says Nikky Nicandro, Chief Vision Officer of Philippine Fashion Week. “The ‘Never Square’ campaign is a bold declaration of that shared vision. We were thrilled to give our designers the freedom to interpret this philosophy, resulting in a display of local artistry that is distinctly bold, luxurious, and ready for the global stage.”

The event unfolded on October 15, 2025, at the Ayala Museum under the theme “Diamond Heist.” The evening was a meticulously designed affair, inspired by the truffles' exquisite diamond shape and luxury. Guests arrived flaunting their boldest interpretations of “Never Square,” setting the tone for a fashion-forward celebration as they walked the golden carpet. A special vault experience awaited guests, where they could savor Toblerone Truffles ahead of the runway spectacle.

Toblerone and Philippine Fashion Week teamed up with three celebrated fashion designers to unveil exclusive five-piece collections, each echoing the campaign’s mission.

Jaggy Glarino reimagined tailoring by blending it with drapery, creating pieces that featured architectural influences and earthy copper tones, resulting in sculptural yet dynamic pieces. His standout design—a spiral patterned dress paired with a deconstructed vest—embodies boldness and originality.

Ram Silva’s collection captured the enigmatic allure of femininity. With intricate embellishments, elegant restraint, and a palette rich in deep plum and maroon, he struck a delicate balance between strength and softness. His highlight piece encapsulated the surprise and drama found within every Toblerone Truffle.

Jerome Salaya Ang embraced transformation in his collection, capitalizing on the “Never Square” theme. His runway displays featured designs that gracefully followed the natural curves of the body, with sculpted organza and leather looks. His hero piece—an elegantly diamond-cut cocoon top and pants—mirrored the bold essence of the new treat.

Each designer concluded their collection with a delightful twist—a model adorned with a unique accessory spotlighting the Toblerone Truffles themselves, highlighting the message that this new diamond-shaped indulgence is truly Never Square.

Toblerone Truffles are now available in leading supermarkets nationwide and on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop.
