For several years now, popular Christmas destinations have been densely crowded with people and filled with cars, prompting some of us to consider alternatives. However, thinking of alternative destinations can be quite a hassle. So, if not opting for these well-known sites, here are some places you can explore!

San Fernando, Pampanga

The Christmas capital of the Philippines is now coming to life! With its prominent Christmas village, you can witness various types of night lights along with performances by favorite mascots that children will surely enjoy, such as Spiderman, Ironman, Elsa, Anna, Darna, and others.

If you prefer a traditional event in the province, you can attend the pride of Kapampangan—the Giant Lantern Festival. Pampanga once again showcased their creativity in making parols and lanterns at this event, open from December 16 to January 1, 2024. San Fernando is truly a versatile place where you can enjoy the holidays with your family!

Tangub City, Misamis Occidental

Located at the heart of the Misamis Occidental province, you'll find the city of Tangub. Known for its prominence during Christmas, the city has established a tradition called the Christmas Symbols Festival. During this celebration, locals and national agencies display symbols such as belen, Christmas trees, lanterns, stars, arches, and more at the city’s plaza. Since then, the place has become a tourist attraction for both non-locals and locals.

Fountain of Lights, Nuvali, Laguna

As art enthusiasts, we love to enjoy a symphony of music and lights for the holidays! You can find both at the Fountain of Lights in Nuvali, Laguna. Enjoy a serene atmosphere before the show by sharing laughs and giggles with your family while having a picnic on the lawns of the place. Then, when night falls, you can finally relish the lakeside show of lights dancing and swaying to the music as you bond with your family. Build stronger bonds while watching the show!
