Alimuom Contemporary Art Exhibition
The Creative City Council of Baguio City, Philippines opens the Alimuom Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Basement Gallery of the Baguio Convention Center on 13 November 2021 at 6:00 in the evening.
Led by curator Prof. Fara Manuel-Nolasco from the University of the Philippines Baguio Fine Arts Program, Alimuom Contemporary Art Exhibition takes inspiration from the concept of alimuom or petrichor, the sweet smell that permeates the earth after the touch of a gentle summer rain. Its arrival feels shrouded in mystery— like an unexpected homecoming, perhaps a becoming. It is an earthy scent that gently evokes memories and floods us with emotions.
Alimuom is on view at the Basement Gallery of the Baguio Convention Center from November 13 to December 12, 2021 from 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, IATF protocols such as physical distancing shall be strictly followed.
