Bellas Artes Projects hosts Ronyel Compra and Ginoe Ojoy as its artists-in-residence in Bagac, Bataan for the month of March

Ronyel Compra is a visual artist based in Cebu City. In 2008, he earned his BFA from the University of the Philippines, Cebu. Compra has developed a distinct style with material experimentation, creating his works that implement various techniques and processes involving materials drawn from local craft including bones, twigs, bamboos and found objects.

Ginoe Ojoy hails from Silay City in Negros Occidental, Philippines who uses a multidisciplinary approach to his practice including mixing illustration with contemporary objects such as print and product packaging. He is a co-founder of Glucose Zine and Syrup Artfest in Bacolod City. He is known to tackle themes that aim to assert queer identity in pop culture, history, and academia.
