Response to Covid-19
British Council have always believed that culture connects us all and at this time of uncertainty, this is more important than ever. They are committed to ensuring that people all over the world have access to culture and will continue to provide opportunities for artists and creative sectors around the world.
Changes are taking place in the world every day as a result of the rapidly evolving Covid-19 situation. During this challenging time, their hearts and thoughts are with all who have been impacted by this unprecedented global event. They salute all who are doing their part and working hard to ensure that our lives and loved ones are safe and sound. At the British Council, the health, safety and well-being of all our staff, customers, partners and the communities in which we operate is a top priority. They support and cooperate with all local government agencies by putting all necessary measures in place to ensure the continued well-being of all with whom we engage at work, and as responsible corporate citizens of the world.
To support us during this time, they have pulled together along with partners from I Lost My Gig PH the latest covid relief funds for artists in the Philippines advice, funding, resources and tips for artists in the UK and elsewhere.
