Ronnie Lim, L'amour (2024) 36 x 36 Acrylic on canvas

Introducing “Je Pense À Paris”, a captivating exhibition inspired by springtime in Paris. Ronnie Lim’s 1st solo exhibition with Galerie Francesca will take you on a stroll around Parisian parks and gardens through his signature flowing florals. Departing from his usual non-figurative works, the collection depicts the joie de vivre of Paris in Spring where Ronnie Lim imbues his quasi-abstract works with life through realistic figurations of birds, bees, and muses who bloom with the fresh Parisian belles fleurs that exude the joy of living.

Ronnie Lim Pour Toujours (2024) 36 x 36 Acrylic on canvas

This exhibition highlights the artist’s depiction of realistic imagery in his surroundings whilst the beauty of his abstract florals moves into the background. Ronnie Lim’s artistic brilliance in capturing an illustration of a beautiful gradient garden filled with life shines through in this new series. With dynamic compositions, soft edges, and a harmonious blend of colors, Lim calls us to appreciate nature’s wonders. Each piece is an emotional interpretation of memories encapsulated in his acrylic on canvas paintings.
